Taught in Fall 2017. This course provides students with an introduction to Entomology and its importance to Public Health. Topics include identification and biology of arthropod vectors, vector borne disease, overview of integrated vector management, insecticides and their alternatives, classes of insecticides, laws and regulations of pesticide use and safety, and impacts on environmental health.
