Undergraduate PH 110 Environmental Health

Course enrollment ranges from 60-120 students. Course was offered Spring 2017, 2018, 2019 and Fall 2019. This course is designed to provide students with an overview of the principles of Environmental Health with particular emphasis on the interaction between people and the environment. Environmental Health is associated with recognizing, assessing and controlling the impacts of people on their environment and at the same time gauging the impacts of the environment on the public. Topics include principles of environmental health, population growth, communicable disease, vectors, toxicology and pesticides, air and water pollution, sustainability and waste management.
