Kathleen Gali

Master's of Public Health
Hi! My name is Kathleen Gali and I am a doctoral student in the Public Health department at the University of California, Merced. Prior to joining UC Merced, I worked as a research associate at the University of California San Francisco in the Department of Psychiatry, and at the Cancer Prevention Institute of California with the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program research group. I hold a BA in Psychology and a MPH with a concentration in Community Health Education. My research interests are in racial/ethnic disparities in cancer, tobacco prevention and treatment, and lifestyle factors that influence care and survivorship in patients with chronic diseases (i.e. cancer, heart disease). I also enjoy traveling, yoga, and good food and wine.
