Associate Professor
I am an experimentalist interested in the fundamental physics problems to do with microorganisms interacting with their emergent environments. Studying these problems leads to the understanding of colonial transport and microbial development crucial to many biological processes. Through multi-scale imaging and high-speed 3D tracking techniques, my group aims to probe microscopic interactions at a single-cell resolution and tackle how individual responses contribute to collective dynamics and global phenomena.
