Welcome! Research in the Nowadnick group lies at the interface of condensed matter physics, materials science, and solid state chemistry. We use a combination of symmetry analysis, theoretical models, and quantum mechanical simulations (density functional theory) to understand and predict the properties of solid-state materials. Current areas of focus include quantum materials and ferroelectrics. Please visit our Research and Publications pages for more information.
