Excited to share that we recently received an R21 (R21AI176186) from the NIH to explore novel concepts in mRNA vaccines for Toxoplasma gondii. This is in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories (LLNL) nanoparticle vaccine group headed by Dr. Nick Fischer and Dr. Amy Rasley.

Julia gave an oral presentation at the 2022 WHIP meeting in Woods hole, MA and a poster at the 16th International meeting on Toxoplasmosis and Toxoplasma meeting, Riverside CA. She won 2nd best talk at WHIP and best poster for her work on the GPI anchor of T. gondii. Pictured below are the awardees...
