Yeng is a doctoral student in the Public Health Department. She earned a Master of Arts in Psychology, where she examined the relationship between ostracism and aggression, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, focusing on the social perspectives of mental health treatment programs for incarcerated individuals. Her research interests focus on health behaviors, policies, determinants, and interventions that influence substance use and mental health treatment access among justice-involved populations, with the goal of reducing recidivism and improving behavioral health outcomes.
