The bulk of Angel's thesis has been published in PLOS Pathogens titled, "Naive CD8 T cell IFNg responses to a vacuolar antigen are regulated by an inflammasome-independent NLRP3 pathway and Toxoplasma gondii ROP5." It is really a great paper that spans host and parasite requirements for CD8 T cell activation and IFNg production - the response required for resistance to infection. Good job Angel!
