Hello! My name is Andie Venegas, and I am a graduate student at UC Merced in the Saha Lab. I graduated from UC Merced in 2021 where I obtained a B.S in Human Biology. During my time as an undergraduate, I was part of the Oviedo Lab where I investigated tissue regeneration and stem cell repopulation in planarians. Now, as a graduate student in the Saha Lab, I am interested in investigating neuroepigenetics and understanding its implications in human health and disease. Outside of the lab, I enjoy exploring new places and trying new food.
