Professor Main's research on parent-adolescent conflict
UC Merced University Communications article on Professor Main’s research on parent-adolescent conflict. This study found that to best resolve conflicts, mothers and their adolescent children should avoid reciprocating negative emotion and take turns validating each other’s views.
