Prof. Wang was chosen from a national search to serve as a senior fellow at the Brooklyn Museum to advise and facilitate its curatorial team to increase the museum's representation of Asian American artists (pre-1960). Dr. Wang helped identify and prioritize artists and artworks for acquisition, and connected artist estates/collectors with the museum's curators to carry on further discussions about placing works by underrepresented artists into the Brooklyn Museum's new vision for its American art galleries.
