January 2026: The Lopez-Arias Lab was founded!

June 2026: The Lopez-Arias Lab was awarded its first project! From July 1st 2026 to June 30th 2027, this project tackles a question that matters more each year as our coastlines change: how do we make concrete more resilient to coastal events, without increasing environmental impact or cost? This project is possible thanks to our collaborator Professor Horvath from UC Berkeley and to the CITRIS and the Banatao Institute seed fund.
