Thank you for your interest in my research. I am in the process of forming a research group called the Environmental and Perinatal Epidemiology Group (The EPEG). The goals of this group are to:

1. Use innovative research methods and the life course approach to assess and evaluate the health effects of various environmental exposures specific to the San Joaquin Valley region
2. Investigate biological, environmental and social risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in the San Joaquin Valley region
3. Understand the mechanisms leading to health disparities in the San Joaquin Valley region
4. Recruit and train highly qualified trainees for the increasingly diverse and demanding field of public health
