Anthony graduated with a B.S. degree in Chemistry from UCLA in 2014. After graduation, he worked in environmental and agricultural analysis, and biofuel manufacturing. His interest in developing synthetic techniques to design and build nanomaterials led him to join the Merg Lab in the Fall of 2020. His current research projects involve developing synthetic methods for constructing programmable 2D nanomaterials from engineered peptide-based building blocks. Anthony's hobbies include technology, coffee and food.
