Camille Paladino Ponce

Camille Paladino Ponce is a Ph.D. student in Interdisciplinary Humanities working with Professor Kit Myers. She completed a BA in American Multicultural Studies with a minor in Chicanx and Latinx Studies at Sonoma State University in 2019. As a teaching assistant at Sonoma State, Camille worked in a yearlong Humanities Learning Community for freshman where racial representation was explored through film and media. As an undergrad, she began research on how mixed-race couples are experiencing residential mobility with a focus on the lived experience of the couples. She is continuing this research while at UC Merced. She has a secondary interest in accessibility issues as they pertain to graduate students with disabilities.
