Cher's research interests are: Hood and Trap feminism, Black feminist theories, Gender affirming care, Reproductive Justice, Health Literacy and Pedagogy, LGBTQ2+ (Queer) studies; Spirituality, religion, and witchcraft, Health disparities, and Critical Race Theory. Cher’s research primarily focuses on reproductive justice and community healthcare initiatives aimed at activating authentic resilience to empower Black mothers.
