Sayan's research focuses on developing models for inter-chromophore coupling and multi-chromophore spectroscopy that takes into account an explicit environment. He started his Ph.D. studies at UC Merced in 2023, and before that did his MS project with Dr. Vamsee Voora, TIFT Mumbai, India.
