Elsa B. Vazquez


Elsa graduated in May 2022 from UC Merced after transferring from Oxnard Community College and spending some time at UC Santa Cruz. As an undergraduate, she used computational methods in her research to characterize two-dimensional energy landscapes of Ni-doped MoS2. She is motivated by DEI work and is interested in pedagogy. In the future, Elsa hopes to become a physics professor where she can mentor students.
