I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus in 2020 with a BA in psychology with an experimental concentration. I am a fourth-year doctoral student in the Health Psychology Ph.D. program at UC Merced. My previous research involved examining the relationship between physical activity and cognitive function in a retirement community, in addition to examining social control in the same pool of participants and how that relates to physical activity. My future research interests include the theory of planned behavior and health behavior, in addition to topics regarding physical activity, eating behaviors, and meditation. My hobbies include teaching yoga, cooking, and traveling.
