I am a third year PhD student in Health Psychology. I received my BA in psychology with honors from Humboldt State University in 2019. I also have my AS in mortuary science. My research focuses on political ideology as a determinant of health behavior. I am interested in how social identities influence health behavior broadly. Previously, I partnered with a local nonprofit to research case outcomes of mediation as an alternative to court and have been involved in research on psychoeducation and health behavior. In my free time I enjoy strength training, hiking, and spending time with my dog.
